Skills Training, Transition Support & Resources for Veterans & Their Families

Transition Skills Training, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing skills training and education for veterans and their families. While we support those transitioning out of military service, we also serve veterans navigating major life transitions—including financial hardship, mental health challenges, or reintegration after homelessness or unemployment. Our programs include entrepreneurial coaching, workforce training, technology skills and more—all at no cost to the veterans and family members that we serve.
Every month, we provide free virutal training sessions for veterans and their family members with topics on small business and nonprofit topics to help you start and grow a business that makes good use of your time in uniform. Military service breeds great entrepreneurs. Our classes are virtual, to the point, and free.
Our classes are for veterans, active-duty personnel, guards, reserves, first responders, and any family members working to start or grow a business.

World-class instructors, timely topics, toolkits with every session. Sign up once to gain access to every session. Free for veterans, active duty, first responders and their familiies

Transition Skills Training was awarded another $50,000 grant by the Texas Veterans Commission to provide Small Business Training for veteran-owned businesses in the Lone Star State. We are now the official small business training org for veterans in the state of Texas. This year's program will include topics on Marketing, Money Management, Funding, Artificial Intelligence and more. TVC Grant funds will be used to provide free training for certified veteran-owned small businesses.

We document veteran transition stories and truly believe in the importance of a connected re-entry experience when coming back to civilian life. All of our programs emphasize the value finding that new a sense of purpose after military service, the importance of making real connections in the community and a core pillar of successful transition, having a place to call home.
We appreciate all donations to help fund this work.

This program is supported by a grant from the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans’ Assistance. The Fund for Veterans’ Assistance provides grants to organizations serving veterans and their families. For more information, visit www.tvc.texas.gov.
