Boots to Business is an excellent education and training program offered by the SBA to help veterans plan for starting a business after military life. This FREE program from the SBA is designed to begin before you leave the military because starting before you leave service significantly increases success rates for launching a new business.
Veterati provides free mentoring for veterans from all levels of management across thousands of industries and career tracks. This organization is changing lives and we are proud to recommend their platform to help with career development.
R+R Elements is an online, four-week program for veterans, spouses of veterans—or anyone else who is interested in the R+R fundamentals—who are forging a new path to better their personal mental health and wellness. Patriot PAWS Service Dogs is dedicated to providing highly trained service dogs to disabled American Veterans. Each dog trained at Patriot PAWS is trained to assist Veterans with both visible and invisible disabilities and can help with many tasks that would otherwise be difficult or impossible.
We are proud to partner with Google to provide live and online skills training and other tools specifically designed for veterans and their families. There is a full suite of specialized courses, certifications, job search, and career development - lots to learn with Google.
SongwritingWith: Soldiers holds weekend retreats across the U.S. for veterans from all conflicts. Since 2012, we have connected with hundreds of veterans and military families, creating a safe and inspiring environment to share their experiences and write songs with professional songwriters.
Creative Forces: NEA Military Healing Arts Network is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with the U.S. DOD and VA that seeks to improve the health, well-being, and quality of life for military and veteran populations exposed to trauma, as well as their families and caregivers.
